Banh Mi
A crusty Vietnamese baguette sandwich layered with pate, pork, and pickled vegetables.
Ingredients
- 1 baguette
- 150g grilled or roasted pork
- 2 tbsp pate
- Pickled carrot and daikon
- Cucumber, sliced
- Cilantro and chilies
- Mayonnaise and soy sauce
Steps
- Slice the baguette lengthwise and lightly toast it.
- Spread pate and mayonnaise on the inside.
- Layer in pork, pickled carrot and daikon, and cucumber slices.
- Drizzle lightly with soy sauce.
- Top with cilantro and sliced chilies before closing the sandwich.
