Butter Chicken

Tender tandoori chicken simmered in a rich, creamy, buttery tomato gravy.

Ingredients

  • 500g chicken thigh, marinated and grilled
  • 2 cups tomato puree
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 1/4 cup cream
  • 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
  • 1 tsp garam masala
  • 1 tsp kashmiri chili powder

Steps

  1. Marinate and grill or roast chicken pieces until charred at the edges.
  2. Saute ginger garlic paste in butter until fragrant.
  3. Add tomato puree, chili powder, and garam masala, simmering until thickened.
  4. Stir in cream and grilled chicken, simmering gently for 10 minutes.
  5. Finish with a swirl of butter and serve with naan or rice.
