Chana Masala
A hearty North Indian chickpea curry simmered in a spiced tomato gravy.
Ingredients
- 2 cups cooked chickpeas
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 tomatoes, pureed
- 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
- 2 tsp chana masala spice blend
- 1 tsp cumin seeds
- Cilantro
Steps
- Saute cumin seeds and onion in oil until golden.
- Add ginger garlic paste and cook until fragrant.
- Stir in tomato puree and chana masala, cooking until the oil separates.
- Add chickpeas and a splash of water, simmering for 15 minutes.
- Garnish with cilantro and serve with rice or roti.
