Curry Puff
Crispy pastry pockets filled with a spiced potato and chicken curry filling.
Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup cold butter
- Cold water as needed
- 150g minced chicken
- 1 potato, diced
- 2 tsp curry powder
- Oil for frying
Steps
- Cut butter into flour, then add cold water gradually to form a firm dough; rest for 20 minutes.
- Cook minced chicken, potato, and curry powder together until the potato is tender; cool slightly.
- Roll dough out and cut into circles.
- Spoon filling onto each circle, fold over, and crimp the edges into a pleated pattern.
- Deep fry until golden and crisp.
- Serve warm.
