Curry Puff

Crispy pastry pockets filled with a spiced potato and chicken curry filling.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup cold butter
  • Cold water as needed
  • 150g minced chicken
  • 1 potato, diced
  • 2 tsp curry powder
  • Oil for frying

Steps

  1. Cut butter into flour, then add cold water gradually to form a firm dough; rest for 20 minutes.
  2. Cook minced chicken, potato, and curry powder together until the potato is tender; cool slightly.
  3. Roll dough out and cut into circles.
  4. Spoon filling onto each circle, fold over, and crimp the edges into a pleated pattern.
  5. Deep fry until golden and crisp.
  6. Serve warm.
