Dan Dan Noodles

Sichuan noodles tossed in a spicy, nutty chili oil and minced pork sauce.

Ingredients

  • 300g wheat noodles
  • 150g ground pork
  • 2 tbsp chili oil
  • 1 tbsp sesame paste
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp Chinkiang vinegar
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Chopped peanuts and scallions

Steps

  1. Cook ground pork in a hot pan until browned and crispy; set aside.
  2. Whisk chili oil, sesame paste, soy sauce, vinegar, and garlic in serving bowls.
  3. Cook noodles until just tender and drain.
  4. Add noodles to the bowls and toss with the sauce.
  5. Top with pork, peanuts, and scallions before serving.
