Edamame

Edamame

Steamed young soybeans in their pods, lightly salted as a simple snack.

Ingredients

  • 300g frozen edamame in pods
  • 1 tbsp salt
  • Water for boiling

Steps

  1. Bring a pot of salted water to a boil.
  2. Add edamame pods and boil for 4-5 minutes until tender.
  3. Drain and toss with a little more salt while still warm.
  4. Serve in a bowl, squeezing beans directly from the pod to eat.
