Es Cendol

A refreshing Indonesian iced dessert with pandan rice flour jelly and coconut milk.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup cendol jelly noodles (pandan rice flour)
  • 1 cup coconut milk
  • 1/2 cup palm sugar syrup
  • Crushed ice
  • Cooked red beans (optional)

Steps

  1. Place cendol jelly noodles in a tall glass.
  2. Add a spoonful of cooked red beans if using.
  3. Fill the glass with crushed ice.
  4. Pour coconut milk and palm sugar syrup over the ice.
  5. Stir before drinking and eating with a spoon.
