Gyeran Bap

Simple Korean egg rice with soy sauce, sesame oil, and a fried or raw egg.

Ingredients

  • 1 bowl warm steamed rice
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • Toasted sesame seeds
  • Chopped scallions

Steps

  1. Fry the egg sunny-side up, or leave raw if preferred.
  2. Place warm rice in a bowl and top with the egg.
  3. Drizzle with soy sauce and sesame oil.
  4. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and scallions.
  5. Mix everything together before eating.
