Halo-Halo
A festive Filipino shaved ice dessert loaded with sweet beans, jellies, and ube ice cream.
Ingredients
- 2 cups shaved ice
- Sweetened red beans and white beans
- Nata de coco and kaintan jelly
- 1 scoop ube ice cream
- Evaporated milk
- Leche flan (optional topping)
Steps
- Layer sweetened beans and jellies at the bottom of a tall glass.
- Fill the glass generously with shaved ice.
- Top with a scoop of ube ice cream and a slice of leche flan if using.
- Drizzle evaporated milk over the top.
- Mix everything together before eating.
