Homemade Hummus

Homemade Hummus

A creamy, garlicky chickpea dip great for snacking with veggies or pita.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked chickpeas
  • 1/4 cup tahini
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • 1/2 tsp cumin
  • Salt to taste
  • Water as needed

Steps

  1. Add chickpeas, tahini, olive oil, garlic, lemon juice, and cumin to a food processor.
  2. Blend until smooth, adding water a little at a time to reach desired consistency.
  3. Season with salt to taste.
  4. Transfer to a bowl, drizzle with olive oil, and serve with pita or vegetables.
