Homemade Hummus
A creamy, garlicky chickpea dip great for snacking with veggies or pita.
Ingredients
- 2 cups cooked chickpeas
- 1/4 cup tahini
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic
- Juice of 1 lemon
- 1/2 tsp cumin
- Salt to taste
- Water as needed
Steps
- Add chickpeas, tahini, olive oil, garlic, lemon juice, and cumin to a food processor.
- Blend until smooth, adding water a little at a time to reach desired consistency.
- Season with salt to taste.
- Transfer to a bowl, drizzle with olive oil, and serve with pita or vegetables.
