Japchae
Stir-fried glass noodles with vegetables and beef in a sweet sesame-soy sauce.
Ingredients
- 200g sweet potato glass noodles
- 150g beef, julienned
- 1 carrot, julienned
- 1 cup spinach
- 4 shiitake mushrooms, sliced
- 3 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp sugar
- Sesame oil
Steps
- Soak noodles in hot water until soft, then drain.
- Stir-fry beef, carrot, mushrooms, and spinach separately, seasoning lightly.
- Toss noodles in a hot pan with soy sauce, sugar, and sesame oil.
- Combine noodles with all the cooked vegetables and beef.
- Garnish with sesame seeds and serve warm or at room temperature.
