Korean Fried Chicken

Extra crispy double-fried chicken coated in a sticky, spicy-sweet glaze.

Ingredients

  • 800g chicken wings
  • 1 cup cornstarch
  • 1/4 cup gochujang
  • 3 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Oil for deep frying

Steps

  1. Coat chicken wings in cornstarch and deep fry until golden, then drain.
  2. Fry a second time briefly to make the skin extra crispy.
  3. Simmer gochujang, honey, soy sauce, and garlic into a thick glaze.
  4. Toss the fried chicken in the hot glaze until fully coated.
  5. Serve immediately, garnished with sesame seeds.
