Larb Gai
A zesty Northern Thai minced chicken salad with herbs, lime, and toasted rice powder.
Ingredients
- 300g minced chicken
- 2 tbsp toasted rice powder
- 3 tbsp lime juice
- 2 tbsp fish sauce
- 1 tbsp chili flakes
- Mint and cilantro leaves
- Shallots, sliced
Steps
- Cook minced chicken in a dry pan with a splash of water until just done.
- Remove from heat and toss with lime juice, fish sauce, and chili flakes while warm.
- Stir in toasted rice powder and sliced shallots.
- Fold in mint and cilantro leaves just before serving.
- Serve with sticky rice and fresh cabbage leaves.
