Mango Sticky Rice
A beloved Thai dessert of sweet coconut sticky rice with fresh ripe mango.
Ingredients
- 1 cup glutinous rice, soaked
- 1 cup coconut milk
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 ripe mangoes, sliced
- 1 tbsp toasted sesame seeds
Steps
- Steam soaked glutinous rice until tender and translucent.
- Warm coconut milk with sugar and salt until dissolved; reserve a little for topping.
- Pour most of the coconut milk over the hot rice and let it absorb for 15 minutes.
- Plate the rice alongside sliced mango.
- Drizzle with reserved coconut milk and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
