Masala Dosa
A crispy South Indian rice and lentil crepe filled with spiced potato.
Ingredients
- 2 cups dosa batter (rice and urad dal, fermented)
- 3 potatoes, boiled and mashed
- 1 onion, sliced
- 1 tsp mustard seeds
- 1 tsp turmeric
- Curry leaves
- Oil
Steps
- Saute mustard seeds, curry leaves, and onion in oil until softened.
- Add turmeric and mashed potato, mixing into a spiced filling.
- Heat a flat griddle and spread a thin layer of dosa batter into a large circle.
- Drizzle with oil and cook until crisp and golden underneath.
- Place potato filling on one side and fold the dosa over.
- Serve hot with coconut chutney and sambar.
