Palak Paneer

Palak Paneer

Soft paneer cheese cubes in a smooth, mildly spiced spinach gravy.

Ingredients

  • 250g paneer, cubed
  • 400g spinach, blanched and pureed
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
  • 1/4 cup cream
  • 1 tsp garam masala
  • Cumin seeds

Steps

  1. Saute cumin seeds and onion in oil until soft.
  2. Add ginger garlic paste and cook until fragrant.
  3. Stir in spinach puree and garam masala, simmering for 5 minutes.
  4. Lightly pan-fry paneer cubes and add them to the spinach gravy.
  5. Stir in cream and simmer briefly before serving with roti.
