Sate Ayam
Grilled Indonesian chicken skewers served with a rich, sweet peanut sauce.
Ingredients
- 500g chicken thigh, cubed
- 3 tbsp sweet soy sauce
- 1 tbsp coriander powder
- Bamboo skewers
- 1/2 cup peanut sauce
- Cucumber and shallots
Steps
- Marinate chicken cubes in sweet soy sauce and coriander powder for at least 30 minutes.
- Thread chicken onto skewers.
- Grill over hot coals or a grill pan, turning and basting with marinade, until charred and cooked through.
- Serve skewers with warm peanut sauce drizzled on top.
- Garnish with cucumber and shallots.
