Shoyu Ramen
Soy sauce based ramen with a savory broth, chashu pork, and a soft-boiled egg.
Ingredients
- 300g fresh ramen noodles
- 6 cups chicken or pork broth
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tbsp mirin
- 2 slices chashu pork
- 2 soft-boiled eggs, halved
- Nori and scallions
Steps
- Season the broth with soy sauce and mirin, keeping it hot.
- Cook ramen noodles in boiling water until just tender and drain well.
- Place noodles in bowls and pour hot seasoned broth over them.
- Top with chashu pork, soft-boiled egg halves, nori, and scallions.
- Serve immediately while hot.
