Shoyu Ramen

Soy sauce based ramen with a savory broth, chashu pork, and a soft-boiled egg.

Ingredients

  • 300g fresh ramen noodles
  • 6 cups chicken or pork broth
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp mirin
  • 2 slices chashu pork
  • 2 soft-boiled eggs, halved
  • Nori and scallions

Steps

  1. Season the broth with soy sauce and mirin, keeping it hot.
  2. Cook ramen noodles in boiling water until just tender and drain well.
  3. Place noodles in bowls and pour hot seasoned broth over them.
  4. Top with chashu pork, soft-boiled egg halves, nori, and scallions.
  5. Serve immediately while hot.
