Sisig
A sizzling Filipino dish of chopped pork face and ears with calamansi and chili.
Ingredients
- 500g pork face and ears, boiled and grilled
- 1 onion, chopped
- 3 chilies, chopped
- 3 tbsp calamansi or lime juice
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- Mayonnaise (optional)
- Butter
Steps
- Boil pork until tender, then grill until charred and crispy.
- Chop the grilled pork finely.
- Saute chopped pork in butter with onion and chilies.
- Season with soy sauce and calamansi juice.
- Serve sizzling hot on a hot plate, optionally topped with a swirl of mayonnaise and a raw egg.
