Spaghetti Aglio e Olio
A simple Italian pasta dish with garlic, olive oil, and chili flakes.
Ingredients
- 400g spaghetti
- 6 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
- 1/2 cup olive oil
- 1 tsp red chili flakes
- Fresh parsley, chopped
- Salt to taste
- Grated parmesan (optional)
Steps
- Cook spaghetti in salted boiling water until al dente; reserve 1/2 cup pasta water.
- Heat olive oil in a pan over low heat and gently fry garlic until golden.
- Add chili flakes and a splash of pasta water.
- Toss in the cooked spaghetti and mix well.
- Garnish with parsley and parmesan before serving.
