Sushi Rolls (Maki)
Classic rolled sushi with seasoned rice, nori, and fresh fillings like cucumber and crab.
Ingredients
- 2 cups sushi rice, cooked and seasoned with vinegar
- 4 sheets nori
- 1 cucumber, julienned
- 200g crab stick or fresh fish
- 1 avocado, sliced
- Soy sauce and pickled ginger
Steps
- Lay nori on a bamboo mat and spread an even layer of sushi rice.
- Arrange cucumber, crab, and avocado in a line across the rice.
- Roll tightly using the mat, applying even pressure.
- Slice the roll into bite-sized pieces with a sharp, wet knife.
- Serve with soy sauce, wasabi, and pickled ginger.
