Sweet and Sour Pork
Crispy battered pork tossed in a vibrant sweet and tangy sauce with peppers and pineapple.
Ingredients
- 400g pork shoulder, cubed
- 1/2 cup cornstarch
- 1 bell pepper, chunked
- 1/2 cup pineapple chunks
- 3 tbsp ketchup
- 2 tbsp rice vinegar
- 2 tbsp sugar
- Oil for frying
Steps
- Coat pork cubes in cornstarch and deep fry until golden and crispy.
- Whisk ketchup, vinegar, and sugar into a sauce.
- Stir-fry bell pepper briefly, then add the sauce and bring to a simmer.
- Add pineapple and fried pork, tossing to coat evenly.
