Tandoori Chicken
Chicken marinated in spiced yogurt and roasted until charred and smoky.
Ingredients
- 8 chicken drumsticks
- 1 cup yogurt
- 2 tbsp tandoori masala
- 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tsp kashmiri chili powder
- Oil
Steps
- Score the chicken pieces and mix with lemon juice and salt; rest for 15 minutes.
- Combine yogurt, tandoori masala, ginger garlic paste, and chili powder, then coat the chicken thoroughly.
- Marinate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight.
- Roast or grill at high heat, basting with oil, until charred and cooked through.
- Serve hot with lemon wedges and sliced onions.
