Tandoori Chicken

Tandoori Chicken

Chicken marinated in spiced yogurt and roasted until charred and smoky.

Ingredients

  • 8 chicken drumsticks
  • 1 cup yogurt
  • 2 tbsp tandoori masala
  • 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp kashmiri chili powder
  • Oil

Steps

  1. Score the chicken pieces and mix with lemon juice and salt; rest for 15 minutes.
  2. Combine yogurt, tandoori masala, ginger garlic paste, and chili powder, then coat the chicken thoroughly.
  3. Marinate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight.
  4. Roast or grill at high heat, basting with oil, until charred and cooked through.
  5. Serve hot with lemon wedges and sliced onions.
