Tapsilog
A Filipino breakfast plate of marinated beef tapa, garlic fried rice, and a fried egg.
Ingredients
- 300g thinly sliced beef
- 3 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp calamansi or lime juice
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 3 cups garlic fried rice
- 2 fried eggs
Steps
- Marinate beef slices in soy sauce, calamansi juice, sugar, and garlic for at least 1 hour.
- Pan-fry the marinated beef until caramelized and cooked through.
- Serve alongside garlic fried rice.
- Top the plate with a sunny-side-up fried egg.
- Serve with extra calamansi and a side of vinegar dipping sauce.
