Tapsilog

A Filipino breakfast plate of marinated beef tapa, garlic fried rice, and a fried egg.

Ingredients

  • 300g thinly sliced beef
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp calamansi or lime juice
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 3 cups garlic fried rice
  • 2 fried eggs

Steps

  1. Marinate beef slices in soy sauce, calamansi juice, sugar, and garlic for at least 1 hour.
  2. Pan-fry the marinated beef until caramelized and cooked through.
  3. Serve alongside garlic fried rice.
  4. Top the plate with a sunny-side-up fried egg.
  5. Serve with extra calamansi and a side of vinegar dipping sauce.
