Wonton Soup

Delicate pork and shrimp wontons served in a light, savory broth.

Ingredients

  • 20 wonton wrappers
  • 150g ground pork
  • 100g shrimp, minced
  • 1 tsp ginger, grated
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 6 cups chicken broth
  • Chopped scallions

Steps

  1. Mix pork, shrimp, ginger, soy sauce, and sesame oil into a filling.
  2. Place a spoonful in each wrapper and fold into wontons, sealing edges with water.
  3. Bring broth to a simmer and season to taste.
  4. Boil wontons in a separate pot of water until they float, about 4 minutes.
  5. Ladle broth into bowls, add wontons, and garnish with scallions.
